Shipping Policy

As soon as your payment has been validated, we organize the transportation of the artwork through our shipping partner. You will then receive an email from Gabriëlla Cleuren indicating the approximate date of delivery.

How are shipping costs determined?

Shipping costs are determined based on the price, dimensions, and weight of the item purchased, as well as by the shipping destination and the object’s origin (the origin is indicated on the item detail page under “Shipping”). All packaging, handling, and insurance fees are included in the shipping cost.

To estimate the shipping cost on your order, add the desired item(s) to your shopping cart and enter your shipping destination on your page. 

If an item is framed or requires special packaging or handling due to its dimensions, weight, or materials, additional shipping costs may be incurred. These objects are noted as such on the item detail page under “Shipping.”

What shipping carriers do you use?

Gabriëlla Cleuren works with carriers including FedEx, DHL, and UPS, as well as several fine art handling companies. The carrier selected for your purchase is dependent on the item’s origin and shipping destination, as well as its packaging and handling requirements.

How is shipping insurance calculated?

Insurance is automatically included in shipping fees and covers door-to-door handling. 

When will my order ship and be delivered?

Processing and shipping times vary according to the purchased item, its origin, and the shipping destination. Most orders are processed and shipped within 10 to 14 business days. However, some items may be processed faster, while others might take more time, particularly if they require special packaging or handling. 


You will receive an email as soon as the work has been given to a transporter. The approximate date of delivery will be communicated to you. 


When your order is shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation email with a tracking number. You can check the status of your package and the estimated delivery date online by using the tracking number. If you order multiple items, they may be shipped and delivered separately.


Do I need to sign for my package upon delivery?

Yes, all packages must be accepted and signed for upon delivery. Due to the valuable nature of artworks and design objects.


Documentation of Authenticity

A professional document of authenticity on letterhead, suitable for insurance and archival purposes, is available upon request at the time of purchase.

After shipment of the artwork, documents are available for a modest fee. Please e-mail or mail photos and measurements with your documentation request for a free quote on documentation services.


Can I collect the artwork? 

Yes, you can come and pick up the work at Gabriëlla Cleuren Studio (Van Landeghemstraat 26 , 9100 Sint_niklaas).   When you order the artwork, you have the possibility to choose the option “Pick up in gallery” which allows you to come by yourself pick up the work in the art gallery. 


This option is free and you do not have to pay delivery costs. You will receive an email informing you when the work is available at the gallery.


Returns Policy

Customers may examine purchases for up to seven (7) days from the customer’s receipt of delivery (per shipping records) and may place purchased item (s) in return shipment anytime within this seven day examination period for a full refund (minus shipping).

Customers are responsible for purchasing shipping insurance at the full purchase price for any items to be returned.


What should I do if I receive a damaged item?

All damaged items must be reported to us within 30 days of delivery. To file a damage report, send detailed photographs of the damage to along with your name, order number, and the item name. We will provide a return shipping label and will work with you to order a replacement.
